The New UMass Football Helmet / Uniform
The new UMass helmet is the biggest change.
The overall uniforms have just been tweaked.
That’s a close-up of the newly branded sleeves.

Kellen Pagel Out Indefinitely; Wegzyn The Likely Starter For Opener
Kellen Pagel is having issues with post-concussion symptoms.
It seems like that it will be Mike Wegzyn starting on August 30th at Uconn. A.J. Doyle will likely back him up. Yesterday Molnar told the media that “Somebody else will start the first game.” Phrasing it in that manner makes it sound as if Molnar and company are hopeful that Pagel’s season is not over.
We wish Kellen a full and speedy recovery.

First we saw Cal in Kraft’s suite. Charley must have been in the restroom, because he is in Kraft’s suite, too. He was seen talking to Calipari when the CBS cameras were broadcasting live.

Kraft is clearly animated in talking about how UMass football will be on this very field in just a few weeks. Also, it appears that is daughter Megan next to Coach Cal.
Enock Asante Commits To UMass

Over the weekend UMass received another verbal commitment. This one was from offensive linemen / defensive tackle Enock Asante.
