UMass Makes The Grade Against Harvard

Yes, we are back. And with a cheesy headline!

It’s great to start off the 2012 campaign with a win on national television (even at 10am). This morning’s game against the Crimson was a good game. Good in the sense that it was entertaining. However, it should not have come down to the last second for the Minutemen.

UMass escaped with the W. However, things will only get tougher from here on in. The Atlantic 10 schedule is always daunting, and this year will be no exception.

Although the game was great, the crowd was lackluster. That is, at least in size. Only 3,874 came out to the Mullins Center for the 10am tip. And so begins the 2012 hoops season.

The Minutemen are currently on the way Puerto Rico. The first Puerto Rico Tip-Off tournament game is Thursday at 7:30pm against another New England foe — Providence.
