UMass Basketball Gets Biggest Win Of Coach Kellogg Era

I don’t do post-game write-ups, generally. And, sticking with that, this isn’t one. The Massachusetts, Saint Louis game just wrapped up, though.

When the final buzzer rang, the Minutemen took sole possession of first place in a deep Atlantic 10 conference. It was a productive afternoon. UMass’ sole possession of the first place spot will only last a few hours, as one of the tonight’s A10 games will produce a co-first place team.

That fine, though. Maybe best of all; the crowd at the Mullins tonight was alive. Not to mention, it was large. Nearly 9,000 people strong, per the game broadcast.

For the first time in several years, it’s going to be an interesting February in Amherst.
